This blog is about a young adult who wants to join the miltary but her scores arent getting her where she wants to be. With three tries on the asvab and the third time being a prefect score she doesnt want to jeopriodize her chances again. This story has suspense,motiviation,effort and determination involved. Joining the military has always been a back up plan for me since I was in high school. I started looking into the army and airforce at the begininng of January 2009. I first went through the air force but the recruiter was giving me hell about my medical documents and was taking forever. He didnt call me back to let me know about my medical documents and if they were approved so I turned to the army reserve. I started processing through the army reserve because I wanted to finish my degree where I lived and plus I wasnt ready to go active just yet, Big mistake. I spoke with a lady from the active duty side and she gave my information to the reserve recruiter and it started from there. He contacted me and ask me some question and sat up a time so I come in his office and we could talk more. I came in and he gave me information about the army telling me different things about it so I said that this would be good for me. He set me up to take the asvab and I went and took it and to my suprise I didnt score well so he set me up to take again within 30 days and I didnt so well again. I went up 5 points but still no good. I took it a third time and got the score I needed but my line scores werent high enough for the jobs for the army i couldnt believe that I mean the army normally has jobs for people with low scores i mean that were that that low but not high enough for their jobs which i think is obscurbed. So here I am battling trying to get in with the scores i have now but no luck. I am still trying and going to keep trying until i have fulfilled my obligations. I mean i could take it over but i dont want to risk my score because if i take it over and score lower than what i have then they will take that one instead.
